Arian Foster had a wild time at the Houston Zoo Saturday.
The Houston Texans running back got a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Hermann Park attraction with his young son, Khyro, and daughter, Zeniah, along with his brother and sister-in-law and their children. During the visit Foster met Jonah the California sea lion, fed lettuce to giraffes, and got an up close and personal look at the zoo’s newest residents—the gorillas — at their new habitat.
Foster was also in the news this week when he answered a tweet from a Texas A&M International student who asked if Foster would purchase his books for the semester. The student, Ernesto Guerrero, was surprised when Foster agreed to pay the $200 tab.
Wow never in my life has anything like this happened. @ArianFoster is the realist out there. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you!— Ernesto Guerrero (@ErnGuerrero33) July 17, 2015
The telegenic football star is likely to attract more attention when the Texans open training camp at Methodist Training Center later this month, with rookies reporting on July 26 and veterans on July 31. It will be filmed for the HBO series, Hard Knocks: Training Camp With The Houston Texans, which debuts Aug. 11.
