Before heading to the restaurants, bars and clubs along Washington Avenue, a girl's gotta have the right look. Enter Affection Boutique, a neighborhood shop focused on the feminine. Owner Paula Davila frequents Hong Kong and Shanghai for glamorous and fashion-forward frocks appropriate for Friday lunch, Saturday night cocktail and even Sunday brunch. The dresses are arranged by color and easy to shop, but they can be a bit pricey (under $250) and teh sizes run small (2 to 8). For those who no longer fit in junior sizes, head to the back wall of the store for an array of upscale and affordable costume jewelry and look high and low for Davila's selection of equally affordable purses.
Like to sip and shop? Davila keeps wine chilling all day and into the night.
