What: Houston Symphony POPS cocktail party with Broadway's lovely Sutton Foster and principal Pops conductor designate Steven Reineke.

Where: The Sunset Lounge at the 2727 Kirby condo tower.

The 411: The night before their Jones Hall spin with the Pops, the duo from New York were star guests among the more than 100 who arrived to celebrate music, compliments of Danielle Batchelor, vice president of popular programming for the symphony board of trustees.

The party throng included symphony board members, POPS donors and members of the Young Associates Council including Young Associates chair and symphony board member Audrey Cochran.

The program included comments from Houston Symphony executive director and CEO Mark Hanson, director of popular programming Leslsey Sabol and Reineke, who talked about plans for the Houston Symphony’s Popular Programming during his tenure.
