The Dirt

Formerly located on Yale Street just outside of the historic Houston Heights — before it was torn down to make way for a much-contested Walmart — The Dirt was sign-less, signified only by its neon address.
The popular after-concert venue (it's hosted after parties for Gaga, Muse, Metallica, Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, Audioslave and more) relocated downtown to Caroline Street shortly after closing, but didn't tell anyone about it until Summer 2011.
