It's official: Colt McCoy, the injured Texas quarterback with the best football name since, well, ever is headed to the altar.

McCoy proposed to his girlfriend, Rachel Glandorf (from Baylor!) Monday night at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. In true football fashion "Will you marry me?" flashed on the scoreboard.

No date has been set. And no word on how Jordan Shipley is dealing with the news.

After seeing some of Rachel's amateur broadcast videos, we can only hope she'll also narrate the wedding vid:
