Southwest's big sale connects H-Town to 30 destinations for under $200

Southwest Airlines has launched a three-day flash sale, featuring big discounts on travel from Houston's Hobby Airport. Through Thursday, June 8, you can snag cheap one-way tickets to 39 destinations, with 30 under $200 for a round-trip flight.

For less than $100 each way, Houstonians can head to such destinations as Atlanta ($79); Charleston ($99); Chicago ($99); Denver ($99); Ft. Lauderdale ($99); Memphis ($49); Nashville ($99); New Orleans ($49); and St. Louis ($99). Texas destinations such as Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Harlingen, and San Antonio start at just $49 each way.

For $129 each way, you can score a ticket to Los Angeles, Oakland, Phoenix, or Pittsburgh. A one-way trip to Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, or Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, runs $134 each way, while Mexico City is only $89 each way.

The reduced fares apply to trips scheduled for August 22 through December 13. Prices are not available on Fridays and Sundays. There are also a few black-out dates: September 1 and 4 and November 17-28 for domestic travel, and September 1-2 and 4-6, and November 18-20 and 25-28 for international destinations.

The sale ends Thursday, June 8, at 11:59 pm in the time zone of the originating city.
