What: Hotel Granduca 10th Anniversary party.

Where: Hotel Granduca Houston.

The scoop: Time flies when you’re having fun. It’s been ten years since the posh Hotel Granduca Houston opened its doors. And since anniversaries are something special, owner and mega real estate developer Giorgio Borlenghi and his wife Cathy Borlenghi celebrated the milestone by throwing a swank cocktail party for 150 guests at the Uptown Park Tuscan-villa-like property.

Fine Italian wines, delicious fare by in-house executive chef Enrico Glaudo, and 150 dapper attendees set the stage for the blowout reception, orchestrated by Swift + Company and decked out with flowers by David Brown.

Who: Bob Palmquist, Anna and Hal Holiday, Charles Foster, Tiziana and Fabio Triolo, Pamela and John Breeding, Louise Parsley, Jan Pilko, Michele Dearborn, Doug Paisley, Larry Taylor, Alex Borlenghi, Lee Ann Badum, Mary and Vincent Kickerillo, Theresa Sturdivant, Pat Sturdivant, and Martin Nicholson.
