At last, it's cool enough to start thinking of bundling up a little bit. So we've held out until now to showcase some key trends for fall/winter that we gleaned from the Neiman Marcus Trend Report fashion show.

We just think that cool-weather clothes look — and feel — better when the temperatures have dipped a bit — even if only by a few degrees.

----------

Shown here: Bold colors shine for the season — and sparkle, too, in this glittery multi-colored skirt. Shine on!

There's a cool '70s vibe with wide legged palazzo pants in bright patterns.

Yes, it's OK to wear white after Labor Day. Winter white is a big trend for fall/winter this season.

Don't leave the guys out. A metallic floral jackets always adds a touch of sparkle.

Green is a big color for the season. As they say, "Go bold, or go home." And floral booties are sure to be a conversation piece.

Mix and matching different styles makes for an eye-catching look. Here, a Giambattista Valli cropped jacket is worn with Celine toreador pants and sequined pumps. Don't be afraid to wear sparkly heels during the day.

Everything that glitters is gold in this sparkling Alice + Olivia coat, worn with an Altuzarra creme blouse, Alice + Olivia cargo pants and booties.

Can't wait until the weather gets cool enough to bundle up in a monochromatic look. Who knew there could be so many shades of beige?

This Dior red jackets can dress up—  or dress down—  an ensemble.

Throw a jean jacket on over a sparkly gown for a cool look.

With a bit of a '70s vibe, this Valentino denim butterfly beaded dress can also be worn as a tunic over pants.

Joggers — part pants, part warmups — are a great look for a guy. And so comfortable, too!

The hostess with the mostess can't go wrong with a colorful, flowing gown. This look, accented with chunky jewelry, is from Etro.

Some trends of the season all in one: Bright red colors, velvet slacks, big jewelry and a cool cape add up to a bohemian look that's in fashion right now.

Part of the fall/winter way to dress is to find one piece you areally love and wear it another way, like this powder blue track jacket work with a long lace skirt.

For the mild Texas climate, a light leather jacket can be worn practically throughout the winter.

Fringe is in!

The cool dude can stand out in a velvet suit.
