Beyoncé and Jay Z take over the art world with famous family portraits

Thanks to Carter Family Portraits on Tumblr, you can see what some of the world's most famous paintings would look like with two of the world's most famous people: Houston's own Beyoncé and hubby Jay-Z.

Now let's see if you can name all of the original paintings and artists.

As you can see, Beyonce and Jay-Z have been transformed into the subjects of this early 20th-century masterpiece. Somehow Bey can even pull off the look of a farmer's wife.

OK, this one is easy, but doesn't Bey look fabulous? She's even displaying the signature enigmatic smile found in the original.

This portrait of Beyoncé certainly channels the regality of the original. I mean, who else could rock green eye shadow like Bey?

The smiling couple of Jay Z and Beyoncé (presumably pregnant with Blue Ivy Carter) are perfectly superimposed into this 15th century painting.

Beyonce doesn't look even a bit out of place in this over-the-top ensemble from the original. Let's not forget that Bey channeled this queen for her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour and in the music video for her song, "Bow Down."

Although they aren't in a musical group together anymore, the Destiny's Child trio (Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and Beyoncé) still know how to share girl time in this version of an 18thcentury painting.

Beyoncé looks stunning in this painting, regarded as the artist's most notable piece. Although different from the original, it's not the first time it's been reworked. Check out Scarlett Johansson in a representation from the eponymous movie.

If you've visited the Menil Collection recently then you'll know this painting right away as one of the artist's most recognizable works (minus Jay, of course).

While she might be decked out like the famous Mexican painter who created the original self-portrait, Beyonce is lacking one key feature. She might have just visited the salon.
