Niko Niko's

Inhale deeply. Seasoned slabs of lamb and beef are spinning on the rotisserie, aromatic chicken-lemon avgolemono soup is bubbling on the stove (a cure-all for almost anything that ails you), and pork chops marinated in oregano, lemon pepper, garlic and olive oil are being chargrilled. This is Niko Niko’s, a bustling Greek diner where you feast on Mediterranean gastronomical delights, even though they come with counter-service, plastic cutlery and disposable plates. Just as hot as the freshly boiled skin-on fries are many of the male Greek service staff who often wear t-shirts that read, “Check out my Greek honey balls.” Formerly a service station, Niko Niko’s is not fancy, anything but intimate and the line to order your food can be as long as the noise-level is loud. But for a gyro or other Greek treats, it’s the real deal.
Enjoy the patio any time of the year. One patio is enclosed; the others are outdoors but have misters that help keep the temperatures bearable.
