The Lowdown

Check stuffy at the door of Chick and Chica, a colorful shop on Main Street filled with clothing, accessories, jewelry and art. Chick Sharon Haynes and Chica Lupe Pozas fill their boutique with artist-driven items like hand-painted belts, embroidered boots and witty T-shirts. The women hand-pick items from Texas and Mexico and are heavy on hospitality and genuine friendliness. Make sure to check out the back of the store for an adorable array of baby and toddler clothes and gifts. Clothing is affordable, bright and casual, much like the store itself.

Insider Information

Chick and Chica keeps later hours Friday and Saturday night for shopping in between taco noshing and live music shows.
