Antidote
|
If you had to install the quirky coolness of the Heights into one space, it would probably look exactly like Antidote. Lacking pretension, this place has amazing coffee, great tea selections and blazing tunes (way more than the typical coffeehouse fare, with classic rock, metal and unknowns mixed in with the indie staples). With ample seating, from funky wood tables to the gold velvet couch, Antidote has that thrift-store-decorated, converted-warehouse-garage kinda feel. The place is somewhat hidden, like most jewels, located next to a Quickie Mart on Studewood and 8th. Antidote is, as the name would imply, the cure for the lackluster coffee experience.
