Cleburne Cafeteria
Walking down the cafeteria line, Cleburne Cafeteria offers just about every home-cooked comfort food — just like grandma used to make, only better, with real butter, whole milk, lard and more — just as they have for the past 60 years. The dining area is spacious with simple, old-fashioned furnishings. Sure, the main crowd here probably all have their own AARP cards, but any restaurant that serves over 1,000 people a day has more than niche appeal.
Cleburne has the distinction of being the only cafeteria in town with its own feature story in The New York Times.
