Tristan has entranced audiences with its mythical power and majestic music since its Munich premiere in 1865. HGO's new production provides a fitting welcome for the company debuts of Nina Stemme and Ben Heppner in the title roles. Stemme's only U.S. appearance this season will be at HGO.
A co-production with the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, the cast includes Nina Stemme, Ben Heppner , Claudia Mahnke , Ryan McKinny , Christof Fischesser and Roger Honeywell. HGO artistic and music director Patrick Summers conducts.
