Houston's Honor Foundation celebrates giving veterans a fresh start
A night dedicated to service, sacrifice, and second chances unfolded at The Honor Foundation’s Fourth Annual Gala. Held at the C. Baldwin Hotel on October 24, the event drew more than 300 attendees and highlighted the mission of supporting U.S. Special Operations Forces as they transition to civilian life. Under the guidance of H. Malcolm Stewart and the organization’s steering committee, the gala illuminated the importance of empowering these elite warriors to continue leading in new arenas.
Headlining the night was a keynote address by The Honorable Michael R. Pompeo, former Secretary of State and CIA Director, who captivated guests with insights into the experiences and ongoing needs of Special Operations Forces members. The event was emceed by KHOU’s Deborah Duncan.
“This gala not only celebrates the extraordinary dedication of our Special Operations Forces but also supports their crucial transition to civilian life,” said Stewart. “Our warriors deserve the tools and training to navigate this significant change, and The Honor Foundation is proud to provide that support.”
Guests left knowing that their contributions would fuel The Honor Foundation’s mission to honor those who served by championing their next chapter.
