1. Houston's only Michelin-recognized Tex-Mex joint fires up new Bellaire store. The only Houston-area Tex-Mex restaurant listed in the Michelin Guide is opening a second location. Candente has claimed the former Mandito’s space in Bellaire for an outpost that’s expected to open before the end of the year.
2. Houston taqueria's 2 new locations will serve cocktails by Anvil owner. A staple Houston taqueria will open two new locations before the end of the year. Tacos A Go Go is moving its Heights location and adding a new outpost in Briargrove/Memorial.
3. More than 30 Houston bars are selling $7.13 drinks for Texas Cocktail Week. The inaugural Texas Cocktail Week is taking place at bars across the city through this Sunday, September 21.
4. Houston designers shop this River Oaks store for eclectic accessories. Tucked away in an adorable collective of jewel box boutique spaces for local independent businesses sits Hunt & Bloom, a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shop for all things kitsch.

5. Nine Inch Nails hammers Houston at career-spanning Toyota Center concert. Nearly 40 years down the spiral, Rock And Roll Hall of Fame inductees Nine Inch Nails returned to Houston and the Toyota Center on Friday, September 12.
