A mountain biker's paradise: Sugar Land, yes Sugar Land, is full of trail surprises
Just outside Houston in the Sugar Land area, many nature reserves and parks boasting nature trails and biking paths are waiting to be discovered.
The Justin Petersen Brindley Trail, which honors a young Sugar Land outdoor buff who died in 2008 while rafting on the Colorado River, is a two-mile single-track trail near the Brazos River at Brazos River Park. At the time of construction in 2009, it was Sugar Land's first mountain bike trail catering to beginner and intermediate cyclists.
In this Hidden Houston video vignette, Teen Texas Business Alliance TV's contributor Felipe Lopez explores the scenery, the expansive views of the waterways and the man-made stunts that add interest to this countryside retreat. Click on the photo (above) or here to watch the video.
