A windy Wednesday marked the beginning of the fourth year of the Urban Harvest City Hall Farmers Market, and Neighborhood Centers Inc. took advantage of the occasion to kick of its For Good campaign.
Part interactive art exhibit, part dedication to community betterment, the For Good Movement is meant to promote volunteerism and positive change within the city of Houston — something that Neighborhood Centers has considered its mission for more than a century.
Residents are invited to write their commitments in chalk on boards that will be on display at City Hall through March 8, at Discovery Green from Thursday through March 20, and at CityCentre from Thursday through March 13, or submit photos and intentions online through the I Am For Good website.
These promises are meant to inspire others to share and volunteer. Will you do your part?
