Cute Young Things Lunching
Catwalk for a Cure organizers are "The Cat's Meow" at purrfect luncheon
Fab fashion, divine jewels, yummy eats and a swell group of gals — what more could you ask for in a special lunch for ladies? That was the case at B&B Butchers and Restaurant when Catwalk for a Cure chairs Allie Fields and Lisa Oren hosted a special pre-gala luncheon.
Benjamin Berg co-hosted the group of more than 50 fashionistas at the gathering on the second floor and updated patio roof of his Washington Avenue steakhouse. Joining Berg as the only gents in the mix were the gala chairs' husbands, Jay Fields and Josh Oren.
Billed as "The Cat's Meow," the midday fete featured a Saks Fifth Avenue video of fall fashion trends, a presentation of dreamy baubles from Tenenbaum Classic Jewelers and servings of Moscow Meows, as opposed to Moscow Mules (vodka, ginger beer and lime juice served in a copper mug).
Fueling enthusiasm for the sold-out Catwalk for a Cure gala at The Astorian on November 5, the chairs unveiled auction offerings and raffled off a two-night stay at the Little Nell in Aspen.
Joining the rocking fest benefiting the Amschwand Sarcoma Cancer Foundation were Missy Amschwand-Bellinger, Jane Amschwand, Lindley Arnoldy, Denise Monteleone, Elizabeth Stein, Melissa Mithoff, Sylvia Forsythe, Meredith Chastang, Tijuana Harvey, Heather Houston, Lilly Lerner, Maggie Nicholson and Caroline Starry LeBlanc.
Tenenbaum's Tony Bradfield was on hand to tempt the ladies with the boutique's cache of grand jewelry.
