Although you've probably heard about the amazing food in Chinatown, it's possible you haven't yet discovered some of the best culinary destinations. For a recent KHOU CultureMap Moment, contributor Marcy de Luna tagged along with "Last Chef Standing" winner Kevin Bryant of Eleven XI Restaurant and Bar on a tour of his favorite foodie spots in the area.

Their first stop, Vinh Hoa, is known for serving some of the freshest seafood in Chinatown. Bryant says everything, including lobster, Dungeness crabs, fresh clams, and even frog legs, is cooked to perfection.

The second stop on the tour, Boba Lounge, serves Bryant's favorite Taiwanese tapioca "bubble tea," which he says is not to sweet or gooey. The establishment also serves fruit smoothies, of which Bryant says there are 60 to 70 different flavor combinations, with mango and avocado being his favorite.

Jasmine Asian Cuisine, the final stop on Bryant's Chinatown tour, is known for family-style portions of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Bryant raves about the lemongrass-sautéed fajitas, which are a unique and delicious take on typical Asian cuisine.
