Houston fans of The Eagles: Your time has come.

After passing over the Bayou City on the first leg of the History of the Eagles tour, the iconic rock band plans a stop at the Toyota Center on Feb. 21, 2014.

That concert is one of 17 new dates the Eagles will be playing during the first part of 2014 as part of their tour, including a stop at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Feb. 19. The Eagles played two sold-out concerts in Dallas in October.

Dallas is one of only two cities getting a return visit from the band; Washington, D.C. is the other.

The tour, which features Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit playing classics spanning the band's career, has garnered excellent reviews at sold-out venues.

Tickets for the new dates go on sale to the general public on Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. at livenation.com, houstontoytacenter.com, most area Randall's stores, or by phone at 1-866-4-HOUTIX. American Express cardmembers have access to a pre-sale starting on Nov. 4. Check eaglesband.com for tour and ticketing updates.
