Oh, stop your kvetching. Houstonians may not be accustomed to the freezing temps that are swathing the city, but there's beauty amid the cold front that here and there reaches northern wintry levels.

On Monday morning, we were tickled to find CultureMap's landscaping adorned with gleaming icicles, as if each leaf of the hedges were donning a darling dangling spike.

Drivers, residents and passersby stopped to admire the winter wonderland. Who knows how long these will last? Soon enough, we will all be whining about the humidity and incessant heat waves that we claim aren't as bad as they really are. So lets take a moment to marvel at the magic of Mother Nature.
