W Grill
|
Another addition to the Houston burger scene, W Grill offers fantastically flavorful burgers in a small space. The delectable details are what set these drive-through burgers apart—the patties are made from fresh-ground, seasoned, juicy chuck. The meat-to-bun ratio is good, and the tender buns stay sturdy to the last bite. The French fries are also good. W Grill is tiny, just large enough for a kitchen, so tables are pushed up against the wall on a makeshift patio. On cool evenings, this corner of Shepherd is great for watching the rush-hour traffic, and the world, whiz by.
For years, this was Bright and Early, one of the first drive-through coffee shops in town.
