Té House of Tea
|
If you love hot tea, this is your heaven. Red, black, white or green, oolong or blooming—you name it, they have it. All tea is served loose leaf in a teapot with a filter and small cup. Have questions about steeping? Pairing? Just ask. The House of Tea staff can answer any questions you may have.
House of Tea was founded by Connie Lacobie and Alyson Bell. You can often find Connie in the shop cooking-up something delicious from her native home of Hong Kong. Along with specialties created by Connie, the house offers a variety of paninis, crepes and salads. They also have free Wi-Fi, which combined with its quiet neighborhood setting, makes Te the perfect study spot.
House of Tea hosts a variety of events throughout the week. Monday nights are open mic, Fridays feature tango dancing, and Saturdays (except the third Saturday of the month) have "Demitasse" swing dancing.
