It happens all the time, titles make promises and reel you in until, like meeting an online date in person whose photo must have been taken in the Reagan years, you leave disappointed. Inn at the Ballpark is just the opposite — it's exactly as advertised. This sleek, traditionally-appointed hotel puts sports fans across the street from Minute Maid Park and steps away from the Toyota Center, as well as the George R. Brown Convention Center if work is also part of the agenda. The pristine atrium is a great place for an expensive scotch on the plush leather couches under a spectacular glass roof.
One of the best steakhouses in town, Vic & Anthony's, is located on the second floor.
