Hank's Ice Cream

Hank's Ice Cream, a family-owned business of more than 20 years, serves up Southern classics like rum raisin, butter pecan, black walnut and sweet cream from a recipe list with more than 100 rotating flavors. The walls of their tiny shop around the corner from Reliant Stadium are covered with photos of famous Texans. Destiny's Child is well-represented, as are several native soap actors and other stars who hail from Houston. Sadly Hank, who was a fixture behind the counter, passed away in early 2012, but his family is committed to keeping everything going just the way he liked it.
