Celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Japan, the 24th Annual Japan Festival brings to Houston the colorful traditions and decorations of Japan’s Children's Day.

Ranging in age from 15-17, the eight boys of Jr. Exile are the subject of a popular Japanese reality TV show following their 3.5 year training in New York.

Other festival highlights include:

  • Spiritual Kagura mask dance
  • An imperial parade by Okinawan dance troupe Kayonokai
  • Traditional tea ceremony in the Japanese Garden azumaya
