Houston Chamber Choir presents "Love Me Do: Songs of the '60s"
Houston Chamber Choir gives its debut performance at Miller Outdoor Theatre with "Love Me Do: Songs of the '60s" – the 1860s and 1960s, that is. This program features Liebeslieder Waltzes, a popular collection of love songs by Johannes Brahms for choir and piano and chart-toppers of The Beatles in unique and brilliant settings by famed Boston arranger Yumiko Matsuoka.
This is a ticketed event for the covered seating area. Free tickets are available (four per person over age 16, while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance between 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. If tickets remain at 1 p.m., the box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the remaining tickets. Open seating on the hill is always available.
