Texas' largest canoe and kayak race, the Buffalo Bayou Regatta, encourages Houstonians ages 12 and up to participate in the 15-mile, USCA-sanctioned race along the scenic Buffalo Bayou. Whether you are entering competitively or paddling for pleasure, everyone is welcome.
Those not wanting to paddle can catch the outdoor fun and cheer on the racers. At the finish line at Sesquicentennial Park, guests will enjoy a party (admission is free) with live zydeco music, a rock climbing wall, outdoor recreational vendors and the awards ceremony. Food and drinks will be available for sale.
