The scoop: More than 60 guests gathered to pay tribute to the influential University of Houston 2018 Table Talk honorees.
Led by Divya Brown and Leila Perrin, the event celebrated a group of 50 local female pioneers, from company leaders to doctors to entrepreneurs, including Cheryl Creuzot, Lynn Wyatt, Sima Ladjevardian, Phoebe Tudor, Estella Cockrell, Jessica Rossman, Leisa Holland-Nelson, and Claire Cormier Thielke.
Inspiring those in attendance, each honoree spoke to the strength of what women can accomplish. But the night wasn’t all business.
Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres from Bella Compagnia, champagne, and the opportunity to shop the latest fashions from top designers, including Dior, Saint Laurent, and Gucci, at The Webster. A percentage of sales benefited the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program at the University of Houston.
The 21st Table Talk luncheon is slotted for March 28 at the Hilton Americas-Houston.
