Bustling Post Oak-area destination opens doors to hot ramen and taco restaurants, plus 2 home goods stores
A Galleria-area shopping center has added new tenants that solidify its status as one of the area’s top dining destinations. Post Oak Plaza, real estate developer Levcor’s property at the corner of San Felipe Street and Post Oak Boulevard, will add two new restaurants and two home improvement options.
They are:
- Rakkan Ramen: A third Houston-area location of the Los Angeles-based ramen shop known for its vegan broth
- Tacodeli: A second Houston location of the Austin-based restaurant that offers close to 40 meat, seafood, and vegetable options
- Kohler: A showroom for the kitchen and bath design company’s latest products
- Basset Furniture: An almost 9,600-square-foot store for the company’s “sustainably made indoor and outdoor furnishings.”
The four new additions join Post Oak Plaza’s current tenants that include Houston deli favorite Kenny & Ziggy’s, Dallas-based Italian restaurant il Bracco, and Bluestone Lane, the New York City-based, Australian-inspired coffee shop and cafe. Previously, the center announced that it will also be home to two other new restaurants — South African chicken restaurant Nando’s Peri-Peri and Balboa Surf Club, a California-inspired seafood restaurant from the owners of il Bracco — and B/S/H Experience & Design Center, a luxury appliance retailer that sells brands such as Bosch, Thermador, and Gaggenau.
In 2021, Levcor announced a series of renovations to Post Oak Plaza that saw its existing restaurants, including Luby’s, California Pizza Kitchen, Five Guys, and Masraff’s, close or relocate. Changes include new facades, improved lighting, widened pathways, and community gathering spaces.
