The Halal Guys Expands
The Halal Guys keeps the Texas frenzy going with expansion to northwest Houston
In a year that's seen a number of high-profile out of town restaurants open their first Houston location — everything from casual concepts like Cane Rosso and Hopdoddy to fine dining establishments like Steak 48 and Le Colonial — few new arrivals have been greeted with quite the same frenzy as The Halal Guys.
While the days of on-site police officers to control traffic have faded, the NYC-based food cart turned restaurant has remained popular thanks to its low prices, speedy service, availability on UberEATS and other delivery apps, and, of course, its celebrated white sauce.
Now, northwest Houston will get to learn what all the fuss is about. On Monday night, the company announced on Instagram that it will open its second Houston-area location at Vintage Marketplace. The announcement doesn't specify a timeline beyond "soon."
Located at the corner of Louetta and Cutten roads, Vintage Marketplace already features both a Whole Foods Market and a Torchy's Tacos.

The company has been expanding throughout Texas in 2016. Dallas already has one location with plans for a second. Recently, it announced Austin will get its first Halal Guys soon, too.
