The new Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn: Part 1, came out a couple of weeks ago. If you’re as much of a Twilight fan as I am, you know this means… um, vampires?

Apparently it also means something infinitely more baffling: glitter lube. Let me repeat that. Glitter. Lube. Wait, what?

This is an actual product. According to the MTV Movie Blog, Robert Pattinson, who plays vampire dude Edward Cullen and is apparently super dreamy (if you’re 16), has said: “I like the glitter lube stuff. I thought that was really funny.”

What’s less clear is what glitter lube actually is (and where you can actually get some, not that we're looking). According to the all-knowing Internet, vampires’ skin glitters in the sun, which — silly me — I thought they weren’t supposed to see, because vampires are extra prone to melanoma or something.

At any rate, this makes me wonder if glitter lube is actually just glitter lotion. The alternative is just too horrifying. And if that’s the case, I think we can all agree that they should really call it “glitter lotion.”
