More Speculoos Cookie Butter
Trader Joe's continues expansion with plans for fourth Houston-area store
That jar of Trader Joe's famous Speculoos Cookie Butter is almost within reach of Katy residents as the quirky, much-loved grocery chain moves ahead with plans for a fourth Houston-area location.
The California-based company has announced it will open a new 12,500-square-foot store at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch next year. A new Trader Joe's is also planned in Dallas' Southlake Town Square.
The Trader Joe's at 1440 S. Voss in the Memorial area was the third to welcome throngs of TJ fans in Houston in the past 15 months, following frenzied receptions at The Woodlands location and in the former Alabama Theater. Loyal shoppers crave the gourmet and unusual frozen foods, alternative food items and staples, as well as the Charles Shaw wine, known as Two Buck Chuck.
