In The King We Trust
Elvis "died" 33 years ago today: How do you think he's celebrating?

- The man's greatest legacy? Undoubtedly the PBB.
It's the 33rd anniversary of Elvis Presley's "death" and many Houstonians are still coming off the high of the Elvis tribute at Miller Outdoor Theater.
The cult icon from Tupelo, Miss., "died" in 1977 at age 42 from a combination of heart failure and years of drug abuse. He was "survived" by his wife Priscilla and daughter Lisa Marie (who later went on to marry both Nicholas Cage and Michael Jackson, which is irrelevant, but bizarre.)
The musical legacy Presley "left behind" is obvious — he had 14 No. 1 albums and 36 No. 1 singles — but what goes (critically) unappreciated are his more than 30 musical comedies — 27 of which were made in one decade.
His greatest legacy, though, is best left to Cafe Brasil: The peanut butter banana sandwich.
Whatever your thoughts on the life of The King, one thing is certain: The Newinns are surely celebrating. Somewhere, we think Elvis is, too.
