Don't come crying to me
Big Ben's Bimbo: Natalie Gulbis shows the world's worst judgment
OK, now I've got no empathy.
In what world do you — after your EX-boyfriend gets accused of RAPE for the SECOND time — think, "Gee, I'd like to give this another shot!" (Sorry for going all Kanye on ya'll, but the situation inspires some gesticulation I'm unable to convey via mere typeface).
Such is the thought process of Natalie Gulbis. The LPGA star chatted with reporters this week about her upcoming tournaments and her ex-boyfriend, Ben Roethlisberger, terming him "a great guy."
The two played golf together this week and Gulbis is seemingly trying to rekindle the flame. Roethlisbeger has plenty of time on his hands of course, as he prepares for a six-game NFL regular season suspension for some seriously questionable conduct.
I haven't forgotten, but in case Ms. Gulbis needs a refresher — the Steelers quarterback allegedly had his thugs stand guard at a door to prevent a clearly intoxicated 20-year-old's girlfriends from rescuing her while he took advantage in a bathroom stall of a Georgia college bar.
For those of you of the (in my eyes, deluded) opinion that Big Ben is totally innocent and, really, the victim here (you know how whores get), fine. I'd still find it difficult to justify reuniting with a boyfriend just coming off of his second rape charge.
Best of luck with that, I guess.
