Compromising act
What happens on the trail ride doesn't always stay on the trail ride: FeliciaMoon's roll in the hay
With a week full of long days in the saddle and long nights at a campsite, one might hope that what happens on a rodeo trail ride stays on the trail.
Such was not the case for Felicia Moon, ex-wife of former Houston Oilers quarterback Warren Moon, who was caught in a compromising act along the way.
As KHOU is reporting, Moon and trail rider James Thomas were arrested in Waller County on Monday night and charged with "public lewdness," a class A misdemeanor.
The pair was allegedly "caught engaging in a sex act" outside of the camp of the Prairie View Trail Riders, who make the 82-mile trek from Hempstead to Memorial Park each year for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Other trail riders didn't learn about the incident until they stopped on Tuesday near Hockley, but they weren't fazed by the news.
"Well, they were out in the field, so, you know, whatever," said trail boss Nannie Francis. "I don't see it as a big deal. You know, when we go out on the trail, people tend to kind of do what they want to do."
And judging by Moon's grin and glow in her mug shot, she's not feeling much remorse.
