It was a killer crowd of 1,000 friends, fans and investors who turned out Thursday night for the grand opening of White Oak Music Hall, the live music venue that aims to be a game-changer in H-Town's entertainment scene.
Two entertainment spaces, two different parties, one helluva good time. And it continues throughout the weekend.
WOMH Upstairs featured live performances by artists with strong Texas roots — Another Run, Mobley, Peach Kings, and Kay Weathers. Downstairs in the Hall, invitation-only guests were treated to a reception with DJ Fredstar in control.
It was a lively throng that turned out for the must-see opening where cocktails from TX Whiskey and Titos Vodka and Anheuser-Busch brewskies slaked thirsts and guests had access to the green rooms and the balconies with fab views of the downtown skyline.
Grand opening acts continue throughout the weekend.
The party crowd included WOMH partners Will Garwood and girlfriend Joy Brewster, Jagi Katial, Johnny So and Will Thomas with wife Julie Thomas; along with Lynn Wyatt, Stacy and John Andell, Annie Amante and Cliffe Reckling, Katie and Paul Barnhart, Mazen Baltagi, Blair Bentley, Gin Braverman, Live Nation’s Courtney Caswell, Nextseed’s Abe Chu, and Treadsack’s Sarah and Chris Cusack.
