While Univision viewers will recognize Laura Sierra as the weather anchor for the network's Houston morning news show, we first met the glamorous native of Medellin, Colombia, at Hotel ZaZa where she was amid the va-va-voom crowd that turned out for image and style consultant Pedro Abasolo's annual bash for his best clients.
When surrounded by stylistas, no ordinary dress will do, so for this evening Sierra wore a Victoria Beckham sheath dress in the color of the season, radiant orchid. The dress was a gift from her husband, purchased last year in London. In a perfect high-low approach, she accessorized with a clutch from Zara, pumps from Express and watch and bracelet from Michael Kors.
"I consider myself to have a romantic-business casual style. I'm a very happy and funny person and I love bright colors," she says. "For that special night I wanted to look modern and fresh so I decided to follow the advice from my great friend and personal stylist Pedro Abasolo."
