Art League of Houston
|
As one of Houston’s longest operating non-profit visual arts organizations and the first alternative art space in Texas, the Art League of Houston has been a center for art for more than 60 years. Since 1948, it has showcased more then 750 exhibitions involving nearly 22,000 artists and held art classes for 30,000 students . The league has been in its Montrose location since 1969; a new tin building was constructed on the site in 2007.
Inversion Coffee House takes up part of the Art League building.
