Lucille's

Southern comfort in the Museum District

Before opening his famed restaurant in the Museum District, Lucille's chef/owner Chris Williams traveled the world, cooking in various kitchens and attending culinary school. The restaurant's name is a nod to his famous great-grandmother, Lucille Bishop Smith, who carved her own place in the culinary world a few generations ago. Popular dishes include Lucille's own chili biscuits, whole fried snapper, shrimp and grits and many others that fuse soul food with Williams' global cooking techniques. The dining room is small and cozy, but just elegant enough to remind you that this isn't your grandmother's house (unless your grandmother is an interior designer).

The patio out back features BBQ in honor of Williams' great-grandfather (Lucille's husband), who was widely known as one of the best pitmasters of his time. This patio space is open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
