LeBron James rocks Hudson Lounge to promote new episodes of his popular animated series
LeBron James kicked off his NBA All-Star weekend Friday night with a launch party at Hudson Lounge for season two of his animated online series The LeBrons.
For those not in the know, The LeBrons centers on a family of four living in Akron, Ohio, offering up nuggets of young adult wisdom about everything from teamwork to dealing with bullies.
Each member represents a different aspect of James' personas — Kid LeBron, Athlete LeBron, Business LeBron, and my personal favorite . . . Wise LeBron, the gray-haired sage who constantly talks about that old-time basketball star Michael Jordan.
"In the second season, Kid LeBron is now in high school so he's going through transition of becoming a young man," James told a swarm of reporters. "He's got the pressure of being on the basketball team and handling school at the same time."
The Miami Heat forward said the material for the show has been drawn almost entirely from his own experiences as a kid.
"It comes straight from my own life," he said. "The writers get my train of thought about what I went through and come up with these great stories."
In the coming weeks, season two of The LeBrons will air exclusively through XBox LIVE and MSN.
