Theta Charity Antiques Show kicks off with 1,000 guests at preview party
What: The 61st annual Theta Charity Antiques Show.
Where: At the George R. Brown Convention Center.
The 411: Antiques Show chairs Cynthia Adkins and Liz Rigney welcomed more than 1,000 guests to the preview party that kicks off four days of shopping amid the offerings of more than 50 notable antique dealers from around the country. Since its founding in 1952, the show has generated more than $6 million in revenue dedicated to educational, cultural arts, medical research and community endeavors in the Houston area. The show includes a number of lectures by noted interior designers and collectors including Alexa Hampton and the team of Elissa Cullman and Tracey Pruzan. The show ends Sunday.
