Halloween Bash
Chic Halloween party for grown-ups raises funds for kids with cancer
Guests turned out in their most whimsical costumes for the Clayton Dabney for Kids with Cancer Halloween Bash at chic Montrose event venue LIFEhtx.
The non-profit’s inaugural Halloween fundraiser was a huge success, helping raising funds for families facing the devastating loss of a child to terminal cancer by assisting with last wishes, family travel, household bills and more.
During the event, partygoers mingled as they enjoyed bites and drinks from Armando’s Catering and bid on silent auction items including a day of pampering at Fiori Spa and floor seats for a Houston Rockets game. All the while, floor-to-ceiling projections of Halloween scenes set the spooky backdrop.
Co-chairs Kristen and John Berger, Natalie and Roy Horlock, Molly and Andrew Montgomery, and Callie and John Simons hosted the 125-person fete, which raised $35,000 for the charity.
Getting into the spirit were Ally Jafarnia, Kristi Whiteside, Raquel Segal, Monsour Taghdisi, Jennifer and Brent Howard, Marlo Bruce, Mitchell Van Hoef, Alia Eads, Heidi Kashani, Courtney Hopson, and John and Kristen Berger.
