Halloween party
Jennifer Aniston, Will Ferrell & sexy local TV news stars as showgirls: This Halloween party really had it all
Oh. My. Gah. Samuel L. Jackson in the house? John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John straight out of Grease, Jennifer Aniston and Ron Livingston a la Office Space and Will Ferrell and Christina Applegate as they appeared in Anchorman . . .
What a wild circus of a costumed fete whose ringmasters Lindley and Jason Arnoldy called upon a gaggle of 150 young professionals Saturday to abandon corporate attire in favor of ensembles roused by Internet memes, favorite flicks and urban legends. Like Harry Thompson as Donkey Kong capturing Yuri Gandy as Pauline, Robert and Amy Urquhart as Fred and Wilma Flintstone and Erin Garza as the free Amanda Bynes movement — and too many other fabulous threads to give props to all deserving Halloween revelers.
All eyes, though, were on the blonde bombshell — KHOU Channel 11's foxy meteorologist Chita Johnson — in the wicked little red number and colossal feathered headpiece that disguised her as a Vegas showgirl. KHOU's Katherine Whaley, as a sexy Greek goddess festooned in gold leaves, showed off her dancing moves alongside her adorbs beau, Chris Wadley, who was the protagonist from American Psycho.
Rosemont Social Club hosted St. Luke's Medical Center's PULSE young professionals' first major fundraiser-cum-dance-party, with DJ Mav's magic at the turntables rocking the high-decibel gathering. The Hendricks Gin and Reyka Vodka heavy-handed potations were strong enough to roll your eyes to the back of your head.
After all "Saints and Sinners" bid adieu, $25,000 was raised with support from sponsors that included BMW West, Royal Sonesta Hotel, Hamilton Shirts, Hotel Icon, Sparrow Bar + Cookshop, Gardere, Triten Corp. and Christine Falgout-Island Operating Co.
Trick or treating were Chris Joseph, Lauren Baughman and Max Barrett, Katie Flaherty, Lindsay and Dan Pearce, Marcy de Luna, Annie and Tyler McQueen, Ting and John Bresnahan, Brittany and Travis Cassin, Rachael and Jason Volz, Noah and Kari Wexler, Rekha Muddaraj, Tara Brivic and Damon Chargois, and Shanna and Eric Jones.
