Key to the Cure party is Destination Glam for Houston's social set as pink reigns supreme
There’s nothing better than a mid-week cocktail party to bring out the glitterati for a good cause. Saks Fifth Avenue was definitely destination glam Wednesday night for the annual Key to the Cure event.
From chilled cocktails to chic dresses, pink reigned supreme at Key to the Cure, which raised funds for Breast Care Centers at Memorial Hermann. Chairs Jo Lynn Falgout, Christine Falgoutand Kimberly Falgout mixed and mingled with more than 250 people who partied with a purpose.
There certainly were no shortage of beauty stops and shopping opportunities throughout the store. Guests lined up for hand massages at Jo Malone, nail polish refreshes by Paloma, and the party perfect blowouts from the stylists at Prestige & Creation Salon.
Bubba McNeely provided the evening’s soundtrack with live covers of '70s and '80s favorites and artist Franco Mondini-Ruez delighted shoppers with pop-up paintings in the handbag department.
While the music played, guests enjoyed stylish sips from Mount Gay Rum, Titanium Tequila and light bites compliments of 51 Fifteen, State of Grace and Weights & Measures.
Saks Fifth Avenue is keeping the party spirit going through Sunday donating a percentage of sales to cancer research and treatment. The exclusive $35 Christian Louboutin-designed T-shirt is also on sale in-store and online and all sales from the shirt are donated to the cause.
