The scoop: More than 300 guests turned out for the third-annual Cooking Up A Cure culinary fundraiser, chaired by Kate and Eddie Bialas, Jodie and Randy Corson, Shelley and Billy Iglesias, and Melanie and Daniel Ringold.
The deliciously-fun evening featured bites by several top-notch restaurants, each showcasing a dish that included or excluded designated allergens. Serving up delectable fare were Uchi, State Fare, Nobie’s, Emmaline, and Le Colonial. Participants also included La Table, Weights + Measures, B&B Butchers, Royer’s, Cafe Annie, and State of Grace.
The event raised $185,000 for the Food Allergy Program at Texas Children’s Hospital, dedicated to finding causes and cures for food allergies and food allergy related diseases.
