Houston, food truck center of the universe? Local food trucks dominate new national TV show
Cooking Channel program Eat St. spent a long weekend in Houston last May, visiting a smattering of the city's most popular food trucks, filling up on fusion tacos and ghetto gourmet cuisine, and recording hours of footage.
Although the show's executive producer told Eater Houston at the time that the city had "more good vendors than [the crews] could possibly shoot," it wasn't enough to earn H-Town its own episode in Season 4, which premiered this month.
That didn't stop Katharine Shilcutt, who has compiled the clips for a commercial-free episode that serves as a finger-licking cross section of the city's food truck scene, from Phamily Bites to The Waffle Bus to St. John's Fire. Watch them all here.
