The mophie juice pack might be the perfect match for the iPhone
Can I be perfectly honest? The best thing about SXSW Interactive wasn't the tech networking, the raucous geek gatherings, the super speaker line-up or even the gluttonous amounts of free swag.
But I did forge a brand-new bond with something that will most certainly change my life (and probably yours, too, now that I'm sharing the affections with you). Something that always has my back. Something that'll ensure that I'm never a victim of loss again.
Say hello to my mophie juice pack plus.
Don't worry — my mophie isn't the least bit shy. It's certainly not bashful about using its superior muscle power to keep my iPhone 4 charged up all day long — yes, I really do mean all day. And into the night, while we're at it.
The little mophie, in its singularity, does the important job of three in my life — a portable charger, an extra battery and a protective case.
When my iPhone battery is low, it kicks in with more juice. When my iPhone battery completely craps out, it steps up as an additional power source — enough to provide double the battery life. And because I err on the clumsy side, it provides plenty of buffer between me and myself, too.
Oh mophie, you're all a technophile needs in life.
Sure, I enjoyed Al Franken's net neutrality battle cry, and Felicia Day is an adorable nerd sprite. Yes, parties in German beer halls are fun, especially when there are giant guns involved.
But technology — useful, juicy technology! — will trump all of that any day of the week.
