Attention shoppers: Two high-profile female celebs are hosting an event that pairs to everyone's fave pursuits: shopping and light day drinking.

CultureMap lifestyle columnist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Reagan Bregman and her friend Julia Morales — beloved Houston Astros reporter — will host their first Midsummer Sip and Shop pop-up at Georgia James' buzzy rooftop patio lounge from noon to 3 pm Thursday, July 6.

Now, for the “sip” part: guests can expect craft cocktails, wine, and some signature appetizers — including a Breggy Bomb tidbit. (Breggy Bomb is the spice and sauce company founded by Reagan's husband Alex, a gentleman who's very, very good at baseball.) Not to be preachy, but given the heat, we suggest hydrating as you sip those adult beverages.

And for the “shop” fun: Shoppers can look forward to what Bregman calls an array of predominantly women-owned small businesses of the Houston area. Think apparel, accessories, skincare, and even cookies, chocolate and more. As for the apparel, Bregman's athleisure line Exiza will be stylishly represented, natch.

As if savvy sippers and shoppers needed anything else, a portion of the event proceeds will benefit two worthy charities: Bregman Cares, the nonprofit Alex and Reagan to raise funds and awareness for autism and those in need in general; and Houston Pets Alive!, which works tirelessly to save animals' lives by preventing them entering kill shelters.

VIP access ($20) from noon to 1 pm is already sold out, but general admission is still available at a mere $5 for this grand-slam shopping fest.
